This is a house I pass by daily when I take Liam to Pre-School . I guess this tree was too Big and Heavy and needed a large crane or something to get it out of the house. It was there for nearly 3 weeks.

This is a large tree around the corner from my house that came down during the storms.
We have a neighbor that has this little bunny lawn ornament and after the tornados, they dressed it in a little hard hat and tool belt, in honor of all the workers that are helping to clean up and put the damaged area's of the town/state back together. 
This house is just down the block/street from where I had left my van parked for the day, and when the tornado hit this house/yard, they announced on the radio that it had hit the main streets - Hwy 72 and Wall Triana… there was a chance my van was hit. It was actually one of the many tornados that day, albeit a small tornado, that hit our friends house and then, hit this corner.
This neighborhood was hit very hard. It is only 5 1/2 miles away from our home. There are only three houses still able to be lived in, most are ruined, many are completely gone! So so sad and scary! This tornado was on a path toward our house, and shifted direction. There are still clothes hanging in the closet of this house.
I am so amazed and impressed that in the face of all of the destruction, that they can still have a sense of humor, by putting out signs:"GONE WITH THE WIND" and "EXTREME MAKEOVER, TORNADO EDITION"
This house had already been bulldozed and the remains burned, and put into dumpsters. Several homes are already in the process to rebuild.

Families are living in trailers and this one has built a tarp tent for extra room. There is a set of bunk bed under that tarp.
The strength of the winds to tear and twist and splinter large trees and so many telephone poles into nothing but twigs, is so frighteningly amazing~
This home had some damage to the back of it and a garage ripped completely down, but the house is still standing and the lot is empty of trees! There are piles and piles of trees along the road side waiting to be hauled away.

A Church that was in the path of the tornado that has been dropped down to a pile of rubble. The tornado took out the doppler radar at the top of the tower that was right by this church as well, before hitting down in the little neighborhood.
