As you may have noticed... my blog title looks a little messed up! I decided it was time for a fresh new look. I went to thecutestblogontheblock.com and went through the same exact steps I've done several times before, and I picked a cute new blog design. Well, it doesn't seem to be working. In the process I did manage to change my title design somewhat, though it needs a little help.
What is so puzzeling to me however, is that twice now, i've been going back and forth rom blog to blog, and for just a brief moment, I see the new cute blog page, right there in all it's glory, with all my stuff right where it should be, and then before I can even have time to get too excited, it changes back to what I've had for months, and I can't get it to change permanently!
Does anyone have any suggesstions? Ideas, that might help me??? Really, it's a cute new look!

Laundry fun...
.jpg)
O.K. so maybe, you just had to be here, but today we went down to the basement to do laundry. We got a few loads of laundry in, and then waited for another machine to open up. Eventually Rach realized this one machine was open, it was just flashing a messge to pick a new wash cycle... o.k. fine, we put her sheets in, she puts the card (they have specific cards that you put money on and use it for all the machines)... the machine ATE her card! That isn't supposed to happen!!! we start laughing, she goes to tell a maintenance man and he comes back, checks out the machine, he unplugs the machine, and takes her information so that they can refund her the money on the card.
Meanwhile she has no card to use the machines, and we aren't able to finish the washing, let alone when it gets finished, we wouldn't be able to dry the clothes... so Rach says, no big deal I'll just go upstairs, get some money, come down and buy another card. She does this and tries to purchase another card, and the machine is all out of new cards!
Unbelievable!!!! We are cracking up at this point! So she goes to talk to the maintenance men again, they come back and say they've caled the company, but they have no more cards. So... they call one of the doormen to see if they have a card that they will allow Rach to use. They say yes, and we wait... and we wait... and wait. All the cothes we washed for 30 minutes, have finished, although one of the machines didn't seem to rinse it very well, and they were all full of bubbles still,
so we need to rewash that load; we have the rest of the wet clothes in the laundry cart, but don't want to take up any dryers in case someone else needs/wants to use them. Meanwhile, the kids are trying to keep themselves entertained. They have sat and watched the front loading washing machine spin
and bubble and spin and spin, then when all those machines finished up, they got a laundry cart and T sat in it and A pushed him all around the laundry room.
Finally, just as Rach was going off to see if the doorman forgot her ;-) he came down and appologized for taking so long.
We got the clothes in the dryers, started them, ran the two loads in the wash, and after about 45 minutes were able to come back upstairs and feed the kids lunch...
It might not sound funny to anyone else, but we jsut sat down there and laughed as each new weird thing happened... the maintenance guys were really appriciate that we were laughing instead of biting osmeone's head off for all the bad things that happend...
Oh, yay! they just called and the mechanic they called in for the washing machine is here and he was able to get her card out of the broken machine. So now at least she'll have one and not have to depend on the doorman to borrow an extra card. Of course she already put money on that card... but, she felt like he was so nice to let her borrow it anyway, he deserved what extra she had put on the card. How crazy. I took pictures on my phone that I had with me, but can't download them until I get home.
On another note, Rach had some good contractions last night for a while. We took a little walk to the corner market, to see what that would do... but, it's another day and no babies yet... but on the other hand she is one day closer to 37 wks, and that's good for the babies - they are able to get a bit bigger and stronger each day. ;-)
