This is not happening!

last week Amanda was sick, this week? Marissa started it out with a high fever... same as Amanda. The highest was 102.1. She pretty much slept all through Monday. Tuesday she wasn't febrile, but still exhausted, and her throat is sore. By last night she had golf balls on the sides of her throat. So today I took her to the Dr to make sure she didn't have strep or anything.
While we were at the Dr's office we had quite a time while we were waiting. Liam was definitely on one... and at one point I had him sitting on my lap to try to get him to calm down. He slid down between my legs, and I was sort of squeezing him between my feet to keep him with me instead of running wild around the office...
Liam was yelling, "No, mommy!!! Let Go!!!!" Everyone around me was trying to be polite and not stare at us too openly...
Then Liam yelled out, "This is NOT happening!!!"
Everyone around me started cracking up!!!

Oh my!!!

Another Liam funny... (or two)

The other night Liam came in from playing in the back yard, and said he was hungry and wanted some dinner.

He went into the kitchen and said, "how about Ice Cream?"

I said, "NO! You need to eat some Dinner!"

He came over to me sitting on the couch, and said, "I ate some dinner! I had sghetios!"

That cought me a bit off guard... I did respond to his comment.

"Yes, You had spaghetios, Two DAYS ago for Lunch!!!"

To quote Charli Brown... Good Grief!!!

Liam has been obsessed about time. "What time is it?"

Sometimes he will ask this over and over again, ALL day long!!!

I'm not quite sure if he wants to know an actual TIME - numbers on the clock, or a time frame so he can reference his day... "It's breakfast time", "It's Almost Lunch time", etc... Sometimes I'll tell him a reference, 'lunch' or something and he'll say, "NO, it's 40 - 10". Alrighty then!..

So this morning I was exercising and he got all upset (actually sobbing at the table eating his cereal... because I was using the wii).

A few minutes later he said, "Dad? I mean Mom?"

"Yes, son?"

"What time is it?"

Trying to make sure he knew he wasn't playing on the wii right now, I said, "It's mommy's Exercise time."

His response was to lift up and look at his arm, as though it had a watch on it, and he said, "It's 4 o'clock!"

What will he come up with next? :-)

Silly sayings...

Amanda asked Liam "what happend to your elbow?"

Liam replied:

"A person bumped my elbow, because I'm skinny!"

That is all I heard, and it took me a minute to realize he was telling her about his skinned up elbow!

Breakfast

Liam wanted breakfast this morning...

He didn't want cereal or anything off a shelf in the house, he wanted something in the garage... so dad goes out with him, and they go to the big freezer. They are looking, an "there are no toaster strudels, no waffles, no pancakes." Liam says, "maybe a popsicle?" Ya, that's it!!! Popsicles for breakfast!!!

Funny kid!
